Salary: USD 84,240 - 101,565 / annual

Oscar Health is seeking an Associate, Member and Provider Optimization to join the Member Provider Service Optimization team. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional process design, optimization, and implementation initiatives that support organizational goals. You will work with business and technical stakeholders across the company to identify opportunities, solve operational problems, and drive strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include end-to-end project management across multiple initiatives, from planning through execution and stakeholder engagement. You will evaluate departmental performance by creating, gathering, and analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making and develop mitigation strategies. The role requires collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop implementation strategies, manage change, and mitigate risks. You will also mentor team members and support their professional development. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting. You should have 2+ years of hands-on experience with data tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar analytics platforms), end-to-end project management, workflow design and improvement, and process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Theory of Constraints. A bachelor's degree is required, with preference for degrees in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher is a bonus. This position reports to the Associate Director of MPSO - Optimization and is based in the Tempe, Arizona office with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in-office per week. Thursdays are mandatory for team meetings; the other two office days are flexible.
