As Associate Manager for Core Annotations, you will lead a team of 100+ employees, managing multiple line managers (pod leaders) and driving organizational performance. Your primary responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership & Development:**
- Motivate, encourage, and support line managers to enable team success
- Lead all efforts driving the 100+ person team while running multiple performance programs simultaneously
- Manage the growth, performance, and efficiency of line managers
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity that unlocks team potential
**Performance Management:**
- Develop and implement KPI frameworks for all roles
- Identify high and low performers; recognize top talent and create Performance Improvement Plans
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with constructive feedback
- Set clear goals, expectations, roles, and project objectives
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:**
- Work with department directors, HR, Benefits, Product, Compliance, Safety, and engineering teams
- Ensure alignment with company goals and values
- Identify and resolve conflicts to promote a harmonious work environment
- Develop positive relationships with support teams and partners
**Organizational Excellence:**
- Implement best practices to improve employee engagement and productivity
- Develop and implement policies and procedures ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards
- Support employee well-being and development
- Provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement
This is a strategic leadership role requiring experience managing large teams, building performance frameworks, and driving organizational alignment across multiple functions.
