The role involves acting as a key contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating audit requests, and ensuring timely and accurate audit support. Additional duties include preparing VAT and tax-related reporting for the MENA region with focus on UAE and KSA requirements, maintaining and improving financial controls and accounting processes to strengthen data integrity across multiple jurisdictions, and identifying process improvements using AI and automation to streamline finance activities. You will collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Compliance, FP&A, and other teams to support smooth financial operations. Experience with CBUAE regulatory reporting is beneficial but not essential. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent; 5-7 years of relevant finance/accounting experience; and professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CFA, or similar). Strong technical accounting exposure, IFRS knowledge, and experience drafting financial statements and supporting statutory audits are essential. Experience in global or multinational, complex, high-growth, or regulated business environments is preferred. Hands-on experience using AI for finance workflows (Gemini, Claude) and strong Excel proficiency with ERP/accounting systems (Workday, NetSuite) are required. Knowledge of MENA tax requirements, particularly UAE and KSA, is important. Fintech or payments experience is preferred but not essential. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent English communication are critical; Arabic language skills are a plus.
