EVERSANA INTOUCH is a global, full-service marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry, integrated within the broader EVERSANA commercialization platform. The Associate Director, PMO is a frontline manager leading the project management team, supervising staff responsible for managing projects aligned with specific programs. This role combines strategic program management with hands-on team leadership, overseeing the project pipeline for clients and large brands.
Key responsibilities include delivering and managing creative and strategic projects/programs, developing staffing plans at program and client levels, managing team performance evaluations and goal-setting, and ensuring successful project delivery. The role requires oversight of program health (budget, scope, timeline), issue mitigation and escalation management, team workload prioritization, and proactive risk identification. You will coach and mentor direct reports, enforce process adherence, review project outputs, and collaborate with portfolio teams on client roadmaps and process improvements.
The Associate Director serves as a strategic partner in the agency, accountable for team growth, development, and billability. Responsibilities include facilitating retrospectives, conducting root cause analysis on issues, implementing onboarding plans, and managing team-level goals and objectives across multiple clients and projects. You will demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development and inclusive leadership.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 7+ years of relevant experience in strategic project and program delivery within an advertising agency environment. Must have expert knowledge of project execution across all types, advanced risk management and stakeholder management skills, and strong financial management capabilities. Essential competencies include team building, mentoring, delegation, emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and the ability to hold crucial conversations. Experience working with ambiguity and developing high-risk or complex estimates with limited information is critical.
