DTX Pharma, a Novartis Company, is seeking an Associate Director, Performance Reporting to own the roadmap, delivery, and continuous enhancement of performance reporting capabilities within the PRIME platform. Reporting to the Director of PRIME Product Lead, you will be responsible for building trusted reporting products and actionable insights that enable data-driven commercial decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include owning and prioritizing the product backlog for performance reporting capabilities, dashboards, and analytics products. You will partner with commercial stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, acceptance criteria, and reporting success metrics. Collaboration is essential—you'll work closely with Analytics Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, UX, and Data teams to deliver scalable reporting solutions.
You will drive product discovery, sprint planning, release management, user acceptance testing, and continuous product improvement. A critical part of the role involves monitoring product adoption, reporting quality, user satisfaction, and business outcomes to identify enhancement opportunities. You must ensure all reporting products align with enterprise data governance, platform standards, and regulatory requirements—particularly important in the pharmaceutical industry.
As the day-to-day product owner for assigned reporting capabilities, you will facilitate cross-functional product ceremonies and serve as the bridge between business and technical teams.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred). You need 5+ years of experience in product ownership, product management, business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting solutions. Experience delivering reporting, dashboard, or analytics products using agile product management practices is essential. Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and prioritization skills are required. Working knowledge of business intelligence platforms, data visualization, analytics, SQL, and modern software development methodologies is necessary.
Desirable qualifications include experience supporting commercial reporting, enterprise analytics platforms, or AI-enabled reporting products, and experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
The role is based in East Hanover, NJ, with hybrid flexibility possible (subject to legal entity restrictions). Approximately 10% travel is expected. This is a Band Level 5 position.
