Salary: USD 193,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced AI, autonomy, and sensor fusion, seeks an Associate Director for Finance Strategy and Planning to join the Corporate Finance team.
In this role, you will drive financial planning and analysis across Anduril's core businesses, synthesizing large datasets to guide executive decision-making and optimize financial performance. You will report to the CFO and serve as a strategic partner to division finance leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
• Establish the financial operating calendar, internal templates, and executive presentation cadence, ensuring cross-functional alignment ahead of C-Suite communications.
• Translate complex financial data into compelling strategic narratives for the C-Suite, explaining performance drivers, highlighting trends, and framing insights to drive critical decisions.
• Partner with division finance leaders to understand operational drivers, analyze performance against plan, and provide insightful commentary on consolidated results.
• Continuously improve and scale financial consolidation, reporting, and forecasting infrastructure to support Anduril's dynamic growth.
• Own consolidated budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning; synthesize business inputs into a unified financial outlook and surface risks, opportunities, and tradeoffs.
• Evaluate capital allocation and corporate finance planning, assessing returns on strategic initiatives and helping leadership balance growth, efficiency, and discipline.
• Lead planning, cash flow, and performance management to provide leadership with a forward-looking view of financial implications for every strategic decision.
You will need 10+ years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance/FP&A, Consulting, or Strategy. Strong financial acumen, Excel/modeling proficiency, and exceptional communication skills are essential. You should be intellectually curious, action-oriented, and skilled at strategic storytelling. DoD and/or tech industry experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field required. Must be a U.S. Person with authorization to work in the United States.
