Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an Associate Director to lead Army Mission Operations engagement for the Next Generation Command & Control (NGC2) program. This strategic role owns senior leader engagement with Corps and Division Commanders, driving rapid fielding of NGC2 by influencing key stakeholders and ensuring organizational readiness.
You will prepare the battlespace for Army formations receiving NGC2 by validating delivery assumptions and ensuring customer organizational structures prioritize NGC2. You'll cultivate senior leader advocacy and institutional adoption across Army formations, creating and operationalizing a repeatable technology adoption model that includes dedicated change management structures and exercise schedules.
Key responsibilities include developing mid-term (6-month) NGC2 product roadmaps based on operational leadership priorities, identifying priority applications, features, and integrations ahead of fielding. You'll identify efficiencies and opportunities in NGC2 product integration across software, transport, and compute layers based on warfighting needs, and facilitate first-party Anduril product adoption within Army formations by cultivating customer champions.
You'll serve as a senior Anduril leader for escalation or de-escalation when executive leadership engagement is required, stepping in to resolve complex stakeholder issues. The role requires translating complex technical principles into compelling operational outcomes with high integrity and objectivity.
Required qualifications include 12-15+ years of experience working with or within the DoD and Intelligence Community, a bachelor's degree or higher, and a bias towards rapid delivery and iteration. You must have strong executive communication and relationship-building skills across government and industry stakeholders, experience translating technical concepts into operational requirements, and the ability to work independently in austere environments. An active U.S. Secret clearance is required, and willingness to travel 50%+ is essential.
Preferred qualifications include graduation from Command and Staff or War College, a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field, prior military command experience at Battalion or Brigade level, and experience as a technical program manager or delivery-focused solutions architect.
