SKIMS, a solutions-oriented brand creating next-generation underwear, loungewear, and shapewear, is seeking an Assistant Store Leader to work closely with the Store Leader in ensuring operational excellence, achieving business results, and delivering exceptional customer service.
In this role, you will manage day-to-day store operations and lead a team of store associates. You will oversee inventory management, including shipment handling, stock replenishment, size integrity, and accountability for productivity goals. You are responsible for managing damages, donations, returns, and product issues to maintain inventory accuracy. You will train store associates on operational and visual merchandising standards, ensuring consistent implementation of brand standards.
You will maintain compliance with company policies, safety, and security protocols. You oversee supply procurement, budget management, and in-store technology upkeep. You will analyze sales data and reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. You are responsible for maintaining visual merchandising standards, planning new launches, and using business insights and customer feedback to inform merchandising decisions. You will regularly update product displays and signage to reflect new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal changes.
As the in-store product expert, you will train team members on product knowledge, new launch information, and design inspiration. You will collaborate with the Store Leader and other team members to create a visually captivating store environment. You will react quickly to sell-through trends and make adjustments to maximize business results. You will communicate with partners to share assortment, allocation, and logistics feedback, and share weekly/monthly product focuses and goals with the team.
You will maintain a clean and organized store environment, oversee store fixturing and maintenance, and conduct regular stock checks. You will support an elevated customer experience and partner with the Store Leader to motivate the team and execute strategies that drive sales and customer satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team of store associates
- Excellent organizational skills to oversee daily operations, including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling
- Deep understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide exceptional service
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members
- Good understanding of sales techniques and ability to motivate team to meet and exceed sales targets
- Ability to stand and remain physically active, moving around all areas of the store for 100% of scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and move items up to 40 pounds regularly throughout shift
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Does not want to be an influencer
