SKIMS, a solutions-oriented fashion brand known for game-changing underwear, loungewear, and shapewear, is seeking an Assistant Store Leader for its Country Club Plaza location in Hershey, PA. You will work closely with the Store Leader to ensure operational excellence, achieve business results, and deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
In this role, you will oversee day-to-day store operations and manage a team of store associates. Key responsibilities include:
**Operations & Inventory Management:** Oversee shipment handling, maintain a clean and organized stockroom, manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure size integrity on the sales floor. You will be responsible for proper management of damages, donations, returns, and product issues that could jeopardize inventory accuracy. Communicate sell-through concerns with the Store Leader and react quickly to trends to maximize business results.
**Team Leadership & Training:** Effectively communicate and train store associates on operational standards, visual merchandising techniques, and product knowledge. Ensure team members understand and implement brand standards consistently. Serve as the in-store product expert, training the team on new launches, design inspiration, and brand storytelling. Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets.
**Visual Merchandising & Store Environment:** Maintain visual merchandising standards, ensuring products are displayed in an appealing and organized manner. Plan new launches using business insight and customer feedback. Regularly update product displays and signage to reflect new arrivals, promotions, and seasonal changes. Oversee store fixturing and maintenance to create a visually captivating environment.
**Sales & Business Analysis:** Assist in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed targets. Analyze sales data and inventory reports to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement. Partner with the Store Leader on product focuses and share weekly/monthly goals with the team.
**Compliance & Administration:** Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols. Oversee supply procurement and manage the budget accordingly. Oversee the upkeep of in-store technology and communicate updates with the team. Handle cash and scheduling responsibilities.
**Customer Service:** Prioritize customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized store environment and be accessible to customers throughout your shift.
**Requirements:**
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a team of store associates
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to oversee daily operations including inventory management, cash handling, and scheduling
- Deep understanding of customer service principles and ability to provide exceptional service
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills
- Good understanding of sales techniques and ability to motivate team to meet/exceed targets
- Ability to stand and remain physically active, moving around all areas of the store for 100% of scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, reach, stretch for product, and lift/carry/move items up to 40 pounds regularly throughout shift
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Does not want to be an influencer
