Stress-Free Auto Care is a rapidly scaling automotive service company that has grown to 30 locations in six years and plans to expand to 300 locations over the next four years. The Assistant General Manager role is a hands-on leadership position that combines sales leadership, team management, and operational execution at a single location.
You will drive revenue performance through direct customer engagement and by coaching service advisors and technicians to improve sales conversion, service recommendations, and average ticket value. You'll lead and manage a team of service advisors and technicians, owning hiring, training, performance management, and termination decisions. Your responsibilities include monitoring sales performance and margin management to balance revenue growth with cost controls, improving operational efficiency and customer throughput, and engaging directly with customers to build trust and resolve concerns.
The role requires strong operational instincts to track performance metrics, ensure workflow efficiency, and maintain staffing levels that support a high-performing operation. You'll leverage technology and operational systems to monitor key metrics and drive consistency. Prior automotive experience is not required; the company provides a two-week intensive training program that equips leaders from retail, hospitality, and other customer-focused industries with the necessary tools.
This is a fast-paced role where leaders balance team leadership, operational management, and customer engagement.
