The platform is differentiated by its proprietary Smart Treasury Management Platform and Fortress Compliance Infrastructure. Reporting to the APAC Regional Controller, this Assistant Finance Controller role is based in Singapore and focuses on ensuring accuracy of financial transactions and accounting records in compliance with local GAAP and IFRS standards. The position supports global finance operations by creating and maintaining procedures, implementing policies and systems, and optimizing processes within a rapidly evolving fintech environment. Key responsibilities span four areas: (1) Financial Operations—ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with accounting operations teams on AP/AR/invoicing/product accounting, and maintaining internal controls; (2) Compliance Reporting and Monitoring—coordinating with internal and external auditors, preparing financial statements, overseeing audit processes, implementing audit recommendations, and ensuring statutory compliance; (3) Team Collaboration—working cross-functionally to gather financial data and provide insights to FP&A and other stakeholders; (4) Financial Reporting—driving accounting close, reconciliations, and flux reporting; preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; and conducting variance analysis to support decision-making. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (master's or professional certification like CPA, ACCA, or CFA preferred), with at least 4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance roles, ideally including Big 4 experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, deep knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, advanced proficiency in Microsoft/Google suite and Oracle, and excellent communication are essential.
