Teya is a London-headquartered payments and software services company founded in 2019, focused on supporting small and medium-sized local businesses across Europe. The company provides easy-to-use, integrated tools that help partners accept payments and improve business performance. As an Area Sales Manager, you will support the daily work, professional development, and performance of independent sales contractors (ISCs) in your region. This is not a traditional management role—ISCs are self-employed sales professionals, so the position is built on professional credibility, partnership collaboration, and hands-on daily support. Key Responsibilities: - Support, motivate, and track performance of commission-based independent sales contractors in your region. - Provide intensive support to new ISCs during their first 90 days: regular contact, goal alignment, feedback, and practical assistance. - Conduct regular in-person field visits, joint customer visits, and support during merchant meetings. - Organize weekly and monthly performance reviews, discussing results, activity, and pipeline opportunities. - Support ISCs with administrative tasks, particularly KYC processes, documentation, and process status tracking. - Plan and execute customer acquisition initiatives to drive regional growth. - Train ISCs on new product features, processes, sales tools, and communication messages. - Collect ISC questions and feedback, troubleshoot issues, and escalate to internal teams as needed. - Identify performance or quality issues early, investigate root causes, and propose improvements. - Organize regular in-person meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions for ISCs. You will work closely with ISCs, especially during their first 90 days, providing practical help with sales work, administration, and process adoption. Success means your regional ISCs receive proper professional and administrative support, develop consistently, and achieve results with increasing independence. Requirements: - Proven experience in B2B field sales; experience in payments solutions, fintech, or software services is a plus. - Experience supporting and developing sales partners or self-employed sales networks. - Comfortable interpreting KPIs, sales pipeline data, and related reports. - Excellent organizational skills, precision, and administrative discipline; able to manage multiple parallel tasks reliably. - Direct, supportive, and empathetic communication; able to set clear expectations and give honest feedback in a partnership tone. - Practical, solution-oriented mindset; able to identify bottlenecks and provide concrete, actionable help to ISCs. - Category B driving license and commitment to spend at least 50% of work time on in-person meetings and field work.
