Curri, a YC-backed logistics company founded in 2018, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to strengthen its finance team as the company scales. The company provides on-demand, last-mile logistics for construction and industrial supplies across the US.
In this role, you will own the billing-to-cash collection process for an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, managing the complete lifecycle from invoicing through payment resolution. Your core responsibilities include monitoring AR aging balances and proactively following up on overdue payments before they become collection risks, partnering directly with customers to resolve outstanding balances via phone, email, and video conferencing, and working cross-functionally with Customer Success and Sales teams to streamline payment processes and reduce billing friction.
You will support billing operations improvements, particularly for recurring revenue models including SaaS subscriptions and usage-based billing. You'll navigate complex customer billing systems to track and resolve account-level discrepancies, and help improve invoicing workflows as the company scales.
You bring 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or billing, with a proven track record managing customer account portfolios. You have strong Excel skills for tracking aging, reconciling balances, and building simple reporting independently. You are highly organized, able to manage a full book of accounts without letting overdue balances slip, and comfortable picking up the phone to resolve issues faster than email. You communicate promptly and professionally across all channels and remain confident and easygoing under pressure.
Bonus experience includes prior work in tech or startup environments, billing or collecting for recurring revenue models, and a demonstrated habit of spotting inefficiencies in billing or collections processes and proposing fixes proactively.
