Join the Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to the Controller. This is a strategic role focused on implementing and transforming the company's cash flow forecasting and reporting processes across North America.
You will serve as a key liaison between accounting, FP&A, treasury, and senior leadership. Your primary responsibilities include developing quarterly cash flow forecasts, conducting rigorous analysis to evaluate forecast accuracy, and identifying variance drivers. You'll collaborate closely with FP&A to maintain the cash flow budget aligned with financial planning assumptions, reconcile forecasts against actuals, and prepare treasury analyses for management and the board.
Key deliverables include leading the redesign and continuous improvement of the cash flow forecasting framework and associated models, identifying efficiency opportunities through automation and process improvements, and implementing financial models within the company's planning systems. You'll develop new analytical tools to better understand cash flow drivers and improve visibility into actual financial performance.
You'll also support the broader Finance team on monthly and quarterly close activities, process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects as needed.
Required qualifications: 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A; CPA or CPA-in-progress; Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance) or equivalent; strong understanding of financial statements and cash flow factors including working capital and balance sheet impacts; experience with financial planning systems (Pigment, Adaptive) and accounting systems (NetSuite); advanced Excel proficiency; ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities; strong attention to detail and analytical skills; problem-solving capability; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desired but not required: SOX reporting experience, public company exposure, IFRS knowledge, experience in dynamic/high-growth environments.
