The Financial Modeling Team sits within Customer & Product Support, at the intersection of sales, customer success, and technical support. The team comprises finance professionals with investment banking, equity research, or similar backgrounds, typically holding CFA, CFP, CMA, or FRM credentials.
As an Analyst, Financial Modeling, you will join this growing team to bridge technical product knowledge with deep customer understanding across all business segments. Your core responsibilities include:
• Building bespoke financial models for client requests and maintaining the template library using AlphaSense's Excel add-ins
• Onboarding and driving customer adoption of analytical tools through expert model development, conversion, and validation
• Delivering world-class customer service that maximizes prospect and customer health
• Partnering with product management and engineering teams to identify future product developments that resonate with the market
• Extracting meaningful insights from large financial datasets and conducting rigorous financial analysis
• Communicating complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
You will have 1–3 years of client-facing experience in finance, with deep expertise in Excel financial modeling, DCF analysis, and financial statement interpretation. A postgraduate degree in Finance or Accounting plus a professional qualification (CFA, FRM preferred) is required. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and customer-obsessed—comfortable working under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy. Experience with CapIQ, Bloomberg, or similar Excel add-ins, VBA knowledge, and familiarity with AI and software applications are valued.
