Elevva is seeking a Commercial Analyst to own the P&L and strategy of a direct-to-consumer (D2C) e-commerce channel for one of its proprietary brands. This is a full-cycle commercial ownership role where you will define and execute the complete value proposition: pricing, assortment, inventory, shipping, financing, and profitability. You will see the direct impact of every decision on sales, conversion, and margin, with no intermediaries between your choices and the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
P&L and Channel Strategy: Own the complete P&L (sales, gross margin, logistics costs, payment processing, commercial investment, contribution). Define annual objectives, forecasts, and track actual performance against plan. Identify and prioritize growth levers: pricing, assortment, conversion, average ticket, repeat purchase, and customer acquisition.
Pricing and Promotions: Define and manage the channel's pricing strategy daily. Design promotions, bundles, and commercial mechanics balancing growth and profitability. Plan and execute key commercial calendar dates. Measure results and document learnings.
Assortment and Inventory Allocation: Define channel assortment and SKU prioritization (focus, launches, liquidation). Collaborate with Planning and Operations on inventory allocation, anticipating stockouts and overstock. Propose commercial actions to correct inventory deviations.
Shipping and Financing Proposal: Design the customer logistics proposition (costs, free shipping thresholds, delivery times, coverage). Define financing strategy and payment methods (installments, bank promotions, payment gateways) and evaluate cost versus conversion impact.
Cross-functional Management: Work with local commercial teams, Operations, Paid Media, Branding, and Customer Experience to achieve channel objectives. Provide Paid Media with clear commercial priorities and align calendars. Collaborate with Branding on brand positioning, site merchandising, and commercial communication.
Competitive and Customer Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, shipping, and financing. Analyze customer behavior (conversion, ticket, repeat purchase) and feedback from reviews and CX to identify opportunities.
The challenge is to double channel sales in 2027 and establish the brand as a category leader. You will work in a dynamic, regional, high-growth environment where speed and precision matter.
Requirements:
Experience: 1–3 years in e-commerce, ideally in a D2C channel or as a Channel Manager, Category Manager, or Commercial Manager. Must have experience owning commercial results. Desirable: experience with proprietary brands and physical products (home, furniture, fitness, electronics).
Education: University degree in Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets. E-commerce metrics and conversion funnel knowledge. Desirable: Shopify, GA4, BI tools, and basic SQL. Fluent use of AI tools in daily work.
Competencies: Ownership (feel the channel as your own and own the numbers). Commercial and analytical mindset (connect data to pricing, assortment, and value proposition decisions). Business vision (think growth and profitability, not one without the other). Influence without authority (move teams that don't report to you). Hands-on approach (dive into detail when needed). Clear communication (present results, alerts, and proposals to different levels).
