Omnea is an AI-native procurement automation platform that has raised $75M from top-tier VCs (Khosla Ventures, Insight Partners, Accel) and is trusted by enterprises like Spotify, MongoDB, Monzo, and Albertsons. The company has 10x'd ARR to double-digit millions in 18 months and is recognized as Europe's 4th fastest-growing startup.
As an AI Transformation Strategist, you will work directly with Omnea's most strategic customers to identify high-impact AI opportunities within their procurement operations and translate them into measurable business value. You'll combine structured procurement data (requests, approvals, contracts, supplier records) with AI to move beyond answering questions to taking action: routing requests intelligently, flagging risk, drafting contract terms, and negotiating with suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying high-impact AI opportunities by understanding enterprise customers' strategic priorities and operational challenges
- Designing AI-powered solutions that translate complex business problems into scalable architectures
- Rapidly prototyping and demonstrating value through proof-of-concept solutions to business and technical stakeholders
- Leading innovation sessions (workshops, hackathons) with customers to explore AI transformation opportunities
- Driving adoption and ensuring successful implementation, with accountability for realized business impact
- Building deep domain expertise in specific industries or business functions and scaling that knowledge across the organization
What makes this role distinctive: you'll focus more on problem framing and validation than on hand-building every proof of value. Your core skill is writing sharp briefs for what AI should build and making judgment calls on which use cases actually move the metrics customers care about. You'll be accountable for outcomes, not just recommendations. The role emphasizes business impact measurement (time saved, error reduction, adoption rates) and the ability to tell a compelling story to stakeholders.
You'll work in a hybrid model (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in-office at London headquarters) alongside experienced operators, many of whom previously scaled Tessian (cybersecurity, acquired post-Series C) and other high-growth companies.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in transformation, strategy, or operations roles where AI or automation was part of the solution
- Ability to take messy business problems, form hypotheses quickly, and translate them into buildable solutions
- Comfort presenting to and working through problems with C-suite executives (CFOs, COOs)
- Demonstrated ability to measure business impact pre- and post-delivery and communicate results clearly to stakeholders
- Preference for accountability for outcomes rather than handing off recommendations
- Experience at a top-tier strategy consultancy is a plus but not required
