Abnormal AI is seeking an AI Security Sales Executive to own and scale the company's AI Security suite in a dedicated territory. This is a quota-carrying sales role focused entirely on five AI security products: AI Governance, AI Cloud Security, AI Employee Guardrails, AI Agent Security, and AI Security Workbench.
You will run the full sales cycle end-to-end, from initial prospecting through close, hunting the largest new logos while expanding within Abnormal's existing customer base of 5,000+ organizations (over 30% of Fortune 500). AI security now appears in close to 80% of customer conversations at the executive level, and demand is outrunning capacity. You will step into a deep pipeline on day one.
Key responsibilities include: owning AI Security quota in your territory; hunting enterprise new logos; prioritizing ruthlessly when inbound interest exceeds calendar capacity; partnering with Account Executives to equip them on AI Security conversations; going deep technically on behavioral AI, cloud security, and agent security when customers need more than standard pitches; running point on design partner conversations for early-availability products; feeding field insights back to product leadership in a fast loop; and staying current as the suite evolves from early availability to GA.
Abnormal is a cybersecurity company growing ~50% year-over-year with eight years of behavioral AI investment and a track record protecting email for thousands of customers. This role exists at the center of a fast-growing company, working directly with executive and product leadership, and offers the opportunity to define how this category gets sold.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying sales experience, primarily selling into Enterprise accounts
- Proven record of winning new logos and expanding accounts
- Technical depth and curiosity: comfort discussing AI architecture, cloud security concepts, and how behavioral models work in enough detail to earn trust with technical buyers
- Hunter's drive paired with judgment to prioritize when demand exceeds capacity
- Comfort operating in ambiguity; the suite and sales motion are still evolving
- Strong cross-functional instincts; ability to partner closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineering, and product leadership while working autonomously
NICE TO HAVES:
- Direct experience selling AI security, cloud security, or other emerging security categories
- Experience in overlay, specialist, or advisory roles in cybersecurity or AI, or record of selling into CISOs and security leaders
- Experience selling early-availability products and shaping design partner deals
