As an AI-First QA Automation Engineer, you will build and scale Playwright-based end-to-end automation frameworks while pioneering AI-driven testing methodologies. Your core responsibilities include designing reliable automation frameworks with minimal flakiness, developing agentic workflows and LLM-driven pipelines for test generation and execution, and implementing self-healing and automated failure analysis systems.
You will lead AI adoption across QA and engineering teams, introducing tools like Cursor and Claude Code into daily workflows. Integration work includes embedding Playwright automation and AI-powered analysis into GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines with automated test reporting and root cause analysis. You'll also develop specialized testing strategies for AI/LLM-powered product features, validating prompt behavior, output quality, and agent state management.
The ideal candidate brings 4+ years of hands-on automation engineering experience, with at least 2 years building and maintaining test suites using Playwright. Strong programming skills in TypeScript or Python are essential, along with daily hands-on experience using AI tools. You should have demonstrated experience building AI-powered workflows using LLMs, prompt engineering, and agentic frameworks, with a strong understanding of different LLM models and their appropriate applications. CI/CD integration experience (GitHub Actions preferred) and startup environment experience are valued.
