Fireworks is a Series D AI infrastructure platform enabling enterprises to build, train, and serve specialized AI models tailored to their data and workflows. Founded by the PyTorch team and backed by NVIDIA, Sequoia, Benchmark, and others, the company is valued at $17.5B and serves hundreds of customers with state-of-the-art open models across text, image, embedding, audio, and multimodal workloads.
As AI Deployment Strategist for EMEA, you own the long-term success of flagship customer accounts post-signature. You partner with Account Executives during the sales cycle to scope pilots, define success criteria, and frame technical-commercial conversations. Once a deal closes, you become the account owner, driving adoption, expansion, and renewals over years rather than quarters—freeing AEs to pursue new business.
Key responsibilities include: owning the customer relationship and commercial outcome from signature onward; supporting AEs pre-signature on pilot scoping and technical framing; running the operating rhythm across customer and Fireworks teams (field deployment engineers, applied ML engineers, product, support); translating customer goals into concrete deployment milestones; identifying and driving expansion into new workloads and use cases; and representing account needs internally with technical precision.
You bring 3+ years combining technical substance with commercial ownership (deployment strategy, technical consulting, founder experience, forward-deployed engineer roles, or similar). You have strong technical credibility—able to engage customer engineering leadership and reason about AI infrastructure tradeoffs. You excel at first-principles thinking, breaking down novel problems without playbooks. You own outcomes over long horizons and communicate with excellent judgment to senior stakeholders.
Preferred: founder or founding-team experience (especially as CEO or commercial lead); production AI/ML deployment with enterprise customers; familiarity with EMEA enterprise constraints (procurement, data residency, GDPR, EU AI Act); startup or fast-paced environment experience.
This role suits entrepreneurial, technically credible operators with founder or founder-CEO backgrounds. You'll tackle challenges at the forefront of AI infrastructure, work with bleeding-edge technology, and have direct impact on how businesses harness AI globally.
