Scopely, a leading mobile games publisher behind MONOPOLY GO!, Pokémon GO, and other top-grossing titles, is hiring an AI Artist (Generalist) for the Bingo Bash team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis.
In this role, you will bridge AI-powered content generation with traditional game art, training and fine-tuning generative models to produce high-quality, stylized visual assets for a top-grossing F2P game. You'll work with tools like Stable Diffusion, Flux, and proprietary interfaces to generate and enhance 2D game assets, collaborating closely with artists, tech artists, and production teams to ensure AI-generated content aligns with the game's artistic vision and brand identity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training and refining AI art models to generate outputs matching the project's visual style
- Using generative art tools to create and enhance game assets
- Partnering with leadership, art, tech art, and production teams to integrate AI content into production pipelines
- Maintaining documentation and communicating feedback with internal and external teams
- Researching new AI-art workflows and staying current with industry advancements
- Ensuring assets meet mobile optimization and game pipeline standards
You bring 2+ years of experience in AI art and 2D game art, with a strong portfolio demonstrating art fundamentals (composition, color, style consistency). You have hands-on experience with generative tools (Stable Diffusion, ComfyUI, A1111 or equivalents) and proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator. You understand game asset pipelines, mobile optimization, dataset curation, and model training workflows. You're collaborative, detail-oriented, curious about new creative workflows, and able to maintain brand fidelity while experimenting with emerging techniques.
Bonus qualifications include 3D modeling experience (Blender, ZBrush), animation knowledge, mobile game development background, and familiarity with Jira and Clickup.
