Elliptic is seeking a full-stack Agent Engineer to join the Operations team and help design and build AI-powered agent fleets that automate core business processes. This role sits at the center of Elliptic's agentic transformation, rethinking existing workflows, ticket queues, and decision-making systems to enable the workforce to achieve significant productivity gains. You will partner closely with the Head of Business Transformation and VP of Operations to convert complex internal processes into intelligent, user-friendly experiences. Key responsibilities include leading the development of agent fleets using LangChain to model complex business processes, developing APIs and workflows that integrate AI and LLM frameworks with business systems, designing and optimizing data models across relational and NoSQL databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an agentic platform from concept through production. You will also participate in technical design reviews, planning sessions, and code reviews to continuously improve system quality, and contribute to infrastructure and observability practices alongside the Engineering team. Required qualifications: minimum 5 years of engineering experience (preferably with Python), 1 year of hands-on experience with LangSmith or comparable LLM/AI frameworks, solid API design skills with production experience, cloud experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3) in production, proficiency with Kubernetes and Helm charts, database proficiency with SQL (Postgres or similar) and NoSQL exposure, structured problem-solving approach, and strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design. Nice-to-have skills include Node.js frameworks (NestJS, Express), Terraform or infrastructure-as-code tooling, observability platforms like Datadog, DynamoDB or NoSQL databases at scale, distributed or event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS), and interest in cryptocurrency, blockchain, or compliance.
