Boston Scientific seeks a Senior Clinical Specialist to drive adoption of two groundbreaking cardiac technologies—Watchman™ (left atrial appendage closure) and FARAPULSE™ (pulsed field ablation)—across a defined territory in Reno, NV. This is a field-based, customer-facing role that blends clinical expertise with sales support and relationship building.
You will educate healthcare providers on safe and effective use of these technologies through presentations, hands-on training, and procedural support. Regular travel to hospitals and clinics is required to assess customer needs, deliver on-site support, and guide physicians on best practices for atrial fibrillation and structural heart disease management.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining strong relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders; collaborating with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, clinical research, training) to execute territory-specific strategies; championing new product launches and serving as a competitive intelligence resource in electrophysiology and structural heart; supporting market development by engaging key opinion leaders, fellows, and referring physicians; mentoring new team members; monitoring clinical trial activity (site initiations, protocol education); and ensuring regulatory compliance.
You will also participate in on-call coverage for critical case support and contribute to talent development initiatives.
Required: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and minimum 4 years in clinical cardiology, medical device sales, or related field. Preferred: experience in structural heart and/or atrial fibrillation, Master's degree in business or healthcare, strong technical aptitude, and ability to communicate complex product information clearly.
