Altruist is an AI-powered platform transforming wealth management by empowering financial advisors to grow, optimize resources, and deliver superior client outcomes. The Advisor Onboarding Specialist owns the critical transition of advisory firms onto the Altruist platform—from post-sale handoff through launch and self-sufficiency. This is a high-stakes role where every interaction reinforces or undermines the client's decision to commit. You will own implementations end-to-end: running discovery sessions, building and driving implementation plans, holding both the advisory firm and internal teams accountable to milestones, and leading training that makes advisory teams fluent on the platform. Success requires understanding how advisory firms actually operate, not just software features. Key responsibilities include: - Owning client implementation delivery from post-sale through launch, ensuring committed assets migrate on schedule and time-to-value accelerates - Developing and maintaining detailed implementation plans with timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations - Leading cross-functional efforts across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Product, Engineering, and Compliance - Running structured discovery before kickoff, then tailoring plans and training to each firm's actual workflows - Taking ownership of the firm relationship at Sales handoff, ensuring continuity rather than a restart - Orienting firms to Altruist's support and service model early - Running weekly transition health cadences focused on risks, owners, and next steps - Covering all seven core areas: advisor experience, client experience, account opening, funding, trading, fee billing, and reporting/integrations - Training to workflows rather than feature lists, surfacing known friction proactively - Staying transparent and solution-focused when answers aren't clean - Setting up steady-state relationships with clear escalation paths and documented open items - Feeding implementation friction and product gaps back to Product and Operations with specificity - Continuously improving playbooks, templates, and training based on learnings You bring 4+ years of implementation, onboarding, transitions, or client-facing operations experience, with B2B financial services strongly preferred. FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses are required. You have deep understanding of the independent wealth management industry—how RIAs operate, how custodial transitions work, and where they break down. You demonstrate strong project management across multiple concurrent implementations, executive presence with firm principals and COOs, and ability to influence cross-functional teams. You're curious about what firms are trying to accomplish, not just what they asked for. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in either the Dallas or Culver City office.
