Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing cybersecurity company building autonomous penetration testing and vulnerability assessment platforms. The company is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join its growing accounting team and take ownership of key AR operations while helping design scalable processes for the next phase of growth.
In this role, you will support customer and partner billing operations including invoice generation, distribution, payment application, collections support, and AR aging analysis. You'll prepare and maintain account reconciliations for revenue and AR-related accounts, investigating discrepancies as needed. Month-end close activities will be a core responsibility, including journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue support, and financial reporting.
You'll partner with internal stakeholders to resolve billing inquiries and improve the customer billing experience, while supporting external audit requests and providing documentation related to revenue, billing, and AR processes. The role includes assisting in the development, documentation, and enhancement of billing and AR processes and internal controls, as well as participating in process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of AR-related accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or high-growth tech environments, with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. You should have strong understanding of US GAAP principles, experience with accounting software (NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar), and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. You're accurate, thorough, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively across teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset are essential.
