Kestra Medical, a cardiac medical device company founded in 2014, seeks an Accounts Receivable - Cash Application Manager to lead day-to-day operations of the cash application team in Kirkland, WA. This is a people-management role overseeing a team of Cash Application Specialists responsible for timely and accurate posting of third-party (government, commercial, private payor) and patient payments into the A/R system.
Key responsibilities include managing team scheduling and shift coverage to meet business needs; hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of direct reports; ensuring accurate data entry and payment processing within established guidelines; managing research, reconciliation, balancing, and error identification across the cash application function; gathering and analyzing cash flow data to identify forecasting risks; maintaining relationships with Accounting and Finance leadership for efficient monthly close and audit support; participating in leadership meetings to report on cash position and trends; developing and refining process flows for departmental efficiency; evaluating system processes and tools for automation opportunities; creating reporting, KPIs, metrics, and dashboards to measure team performance; and supporting patient, financial, and payor audits as needed.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 5+ years in healthcare cash posting environments, and minimum 3 years management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential. Preferred: 6+ years in Manager-level or above leadership roles. The position is in-office in an open office environment with occasional extended hours and weekend work. Kestra manufactures FDA-regulated life-saving cardiac devices combining wearable technology with proven device therapies.
