The Accounts Payable Specialist will join a close-knit accounting team supporting Cleerly's rapid growth. This role is primarily responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced startup environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Processing and analyzing invoices in Bill.com, determining correct expense classification and payment terms
- Managing expense workflows using Concur and Ramp.com
- Reviewing vendor and contractor contracts to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Setting up expense amortization schedules for prepaid expenses
- Conducting weekly cash flow analysis
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Analyzing healthcare provider payments for Sunshine Act compliance
- Supporting internal and external audit processes with documentation
The ideal candidate has experience in health software, technology, healthcare, or medical devices industries. The role is fully remote but may require occasional travel (typically monthly or quarterly) for team meetings and cross-functional projects. The team uses Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom.
