Voyager Technologies, a defense and national security technology company, is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to join its accounting team in Denver or Littleton, Colorado. This hybrid role reports to the Controller and oversees end-to-end accounts payable operations while managing a team of 5+ direct reports.
Key responsibilities include managing invoice processing, payment runs, vendor maintenance, and account reconciliations. You will supervise and develop an AP team, establishing performance expectations and supporting employee growth and succession planning. The role requires ensuring compliance with company policies, SOX/internal control requirements, and public company reporting standards.
You will review and improve AP workflows, approval processes, and controls to drive efficiency and scalability. Cross-functional collaboration with procurement, treasury, accounting, finance, and external vendors is essential to resolve payment issues and optimize processes. Month-end and year-end close activities, AP aging analysis, and vendor data review fall under your purview.
Additional responsibilities include providing weekly executive dashboards on AP status, leading NetSuite system optimization and process automation initiatives, supporting internal and external audits, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring vendor compliance, and managing tax filings related to vendor management.
This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to support operational and financial objectives.
