You will join IonQ's finance function in Oxford, UK as Accounts Payable Manager, owning the day-to-day AP operations for a fast-growing, multinational tech and science organization. This is a hands-on role requiring process discipline and commercial awareness in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the full AP cycle from bill processing through payment execution
- Processing bills during busy periods and executing payment runs to meet supplier requirements
- Managing ad-hoc payments to employees, suppliers, and partners
- Maintaining AP ledger accuracy through regular reviews, aging analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Conducting VAT checks and reconciliations
- Managing supplier relationships: negotiating credit limits, payment terms, and maintaining supplier records in NetSuite
- Supporting a business day 0 AP close as part of the month-end process
- Identifying process efficiencies and improvements, partnering with Procurement on supplier management
You will partner closely with Procurement, Treasury, and the broader Finance team while continually seeking ways to scale AP processes as the business expands. The role requires 5+ years of AP experience in fast-moving or high-growth technology or science companies, with expertise in coding bills across GL types, managing payment runs, and resolving supplier queries.
