As Accounting Manager, you will lead the accounting function for this fast-growing aerospace company. You will manage a team of accounting professionals, oversee day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. Your responsibilities will include managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close processes, and financial statement preparation.
You will work closely with the finance leadership team and other departments to support the company's financial planning, budgeting, and analysis needs. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, team leadership capability, and the ability to scale accounting processes as the company grows rapidly. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly and cross-functional collaboration is essential.
The ideal candidate has prior experience managing accounting teams, deep knowledge of GAAP, and experience with accounting systems and controls. Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or defense industries is a plus. You should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
