Salary: USD 26,200 - 58,950 / annual
Remote is a global employment platform that helps businesses recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. The Finance team covers Tax, Accounting, Treasury, Strategic Finance, Investor Relations, and M&A, supporting the company's growth across multiple continents.
As an Accountant, you will join the Finance, Tax & Accounting team and report to the Manager of Accounting and Controls. This role is based in the EMEA timezone and is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post transactions in SAP and manage the general ledger
- Close and reconcile sub-ledgers including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Bank, and Intercompany accounts
- Record and reconcile payroll for various countries
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements including VAT returns, statutory financial documents, and CIT returns
- Contribute to statutory close and financial statement preparation
- Perform analysis and support other projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Post-qualification accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with core finance systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong automation and AI capabilities; AI fluency required
- EMEA timezone availability is mandatory
