Entyre Care is a high-growth healthcare startup focused on personal care services and homecare advancement. We're seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support our accounting department's daily operations and ensure financial accuracy.
You will prepare and post journal entries while maintaining compliance with company policies and GAAP standards. Your responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, and performing bank reconciliations to monitor cash flow. You'll assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, prepare financial statements and reports for management, and support external audits by organizing schedules and documentation.
You'll identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and ensure all accounting controls are properly maintained. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; 2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting experience is a plus); solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting practices; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP); strong communication skills; and experience in Accounts Receivables.
Preferred: CPA or working toward CPA certification; knowledge of ERP systems and advanced Excel functions; experience in healthcare or related industries.
