Salary: USD 115,000 - 128,000 / annual

The Account Manager will join the Partner Success team to drive nonprofit partner retention and expansion. This is a full-time remote role based anywhere in the US (excluding Colorado, Alabama, and Louisiana).
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure nonprofit organizations renew annual subscriptions and continue long-term partnerships
- Identify and execute expansion opportunities to include additional FreeWill fundraising tools
- Build and maintain warm, dynamic relationships with nonprofit partners
- Proactively identify and address challenges internally and externally
- Lead renewal and upsell meetings, prioritizing partner goals
- Collaborate with Partner Success Strategists to understand the full partner journey
- Develop creative renewal and expansion plans tailored to individual partner needs, owning deals ahead of key deadlines
- Represent nonprofit partner needs across the company to shape how FreeWill builds and delivers value
- Communicate new FreeWill developments and proactively offer value to partners
- Maintain accurate CRM records to support reliable scheduling and forecasting
- Surface feedback, customer success techniques, and industry trends to the broader team
- Work in a fast-paced environment where responsibilities frequently shift
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience on a SaaS customer success team, managing clients, handling negotiations, and/or working in the nonprofit fundraising space (nonprofit experience strongly preferred)
- Superior written and verbal communication skills with fine-tuned attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and comfort working precisely within CRM and sales tools
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn and take on projects outside primary expertise, with strong follow-through
- Strong decision-making skills paired with collaborative mindset, balancing autonomous action with team alignment
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and navigating nuances to make sound decisions
