Mia Labs is an investor-backed startup modernizing dealership operations through an AI agent that automates customer interactions and improves operational efficiency. The company serves some of the nation's largest dealership groups and is rapidly scaling. In this Account Manager role, you will own customer relationships end-to-end—from onboarding through adoption, success, and renewals. You will drive revenue growth within your book of business by proactively identifying expansion opportunities, managing software subscriptions, and executing strategic upsells. Key responsibilities include leading technical onboarding (configuring workflows, call routing, CRM integrations), developing deep product knowledge, troubleshooting technical issues in partnership with engineering, and using dashboards and SQL to understand customer performance and recommend improvements. You will communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users, translate complex concepts simply, support feature launches and pilots, deliver training and business reviews, and identify risks to ensure long-term customer success. This is a hybrid role based in the Boston area with 3 days per week in downtown Austin. REQUIREMENTS: - 3–7 years in customer success, solutions engineering, or technical account management - Strong technical aptitude—comfortable understanding integrations, telephony systems, CRM data, and automation workflows - Deep understanding of car dealership operations and workflows - Skilled in SQL and analytics tools; able to interpret data and tell clear, actionable stories - Excellent communicator with outstanding bedside manner and client-facing confidence - Organized, process-driven, and effective in fast-moving startup environments NICE TO HAVES: - Experience with dealership operations or automotive systems - Familiarity with conversational AI, LLMs, or automation technologies - Strong understanding of dealership workflows across sales and service - Prior experience supporting AI or automation-driven products
