Salary: USD 90,000 - 110,000 / annual

Starface is a consumer beauty brand founded in 2019 that specializes in expressive, colorful hydrocolloid pimple patches and skincare products. The company is seeking an Account Manager to own day-to-day account management across Drug, Specialty, and Beauty retail channels, reporting to the Account Director. In this role, you will manage key retail accounts such as Walgreens and CVS, and collaborate on others like Ulta. Your responsibilities include: • Own day-to-day communication and relationship management with retail partners, serving as the primary point of contact for both external retailers and internal teams • Manage accurate sales reporting using POS and retailer data to track account performance, identify growth opportunities, and flag risks proactively • Support forecasting and account planning by maintaining accurate account-level information and keeping internal priorities aligned • Execute and track promotional campaigns, new product launches, retail activations, and retailer commitments • Prepare for and support retailer meetings and line reviews, coordinating materials and follow-up actions • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and S&OP teams to ensure alignment on account priorities, launches, promotions, and inventory needs • Identify account challenges, trends, and opportunities; surface recommendations and drive follow-through • Maintain deep understanding of retailer-specific processes, tools, promotional calendars, assortment strategies, and upcoming launches • While remote-eligible, you will attend in-person meetings in the Chicago area and travel 10-20% for company and team off-sites The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. REQUIREMENTS: • Experience supporting or managing retail accounts in beauty, CPG, wellness, or fast-paced consumer products • Direct experience working with CVS and/or Walgreens without a broker; Ulta and specialty retailer experience is a plus • Understanding of core retail account management fundamentals: POS, forecasting, promotional planning, assortment, new item launches, resets, inventory, and retailer portals • Highly organized and detail-oriented with accuracy in managing POs, forecasting, sales reporting, and retailer commitments • Proactive approach to independently managing responsibilities, identifying issues before escalation, and following through on commitments • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities; solutions-oriented problem-solving mindset • Curious about business drivers; uses data and context to understand performance, risks, and opportunities • Collaborative communicator who works effectively across teams and levels; willing to jump in where needed • Comfortable speaking up, asking thoughtful questions, and bringing fresh perspectives while remaining open to different approaches • Located in the Chicago, IL area
