Ellevation Education is seeking an Account Manager to renew and expand partnerships with existing school district customers while driving product adoption and customer success. The role focuses on managing 100+ partner accounts across the West region, monitoring district and educator engagement, identifying upsell opportunities, and strengthening long-term relationships with district leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor district and educator engagement to maximize product value and adoption
- Identify and pursue opportunities to expand existing partnerships and drive revenue growth
- Conduct product demos, renewal calls, and engagement meetings with assigned accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Partner Success, Partner Development) to build trusted relationships and deliver exceptional customer experience
- Manage and grow sales pipeline of upsell opportunities
- Track all sales activity in Salesforce and utilize other business systems
- Represent Ellevation at education conferences and in-field partner visits
- Synthesize field insights and share competitive intelligence with internal teams
- Develop and execute strategic territory plans
Within the first year, you will become proficient in presenting all Ellevation products, close renewal contracts, meet or exceed sales quota, and build deep relationships with key district stakeholders.
Ellevation Education serves nearly 2,000 school districts with software designed to help educators support English Learners (ELs). The company merged with Curriculum Associates in 2021 and is well-capitalized for growth, with plans to double the number of ELs served over the next five years.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience successfully selling to the K-12 market
- Experience and knowledge of the ELL (English Language Learner) landscape
- Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to manage 100+ partner accounts
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences at all levels
- Ability to succeed in a competitive selling environment
- Strong technical proficiency and ability to navigate complex software tools
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems
- Must live in California
- Travel requirement: up to 50% with seasonal peaks
