Flanks is a Barcelona-based fintech SaaS platform transforming wealth management for financial institutions. Founded in 2019 and backed by €23 million in funding, the company helps banks, family offices, and wealth managers consolidate client financial asset visibility into a single platform. As Account Executive for the UK market, you will own the complete sales cycle for one of Flanks' most strategic regions. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the UK Country Manager, where you'll be the primary face of Flanks in the market. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through close: discovery, demos, proposals, negotiation, and deal closure - Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within banks, wealth managers, family offices, and other financial institutions across the UK - Building and maintaining your own pipeline through outbound campaigns, cold calling, networking events, industry conferences, and online channels - Conducting in-depth discovery conversations to understand prospects' business needs, tech stacks, and pain points - Delivering compelling, consultative product demonstrations tailored to different stakeholders - Developing proposals, quotes, and presentations that articulate value proposition and competitive advantages - Negotiating and closing deals that benefit both client and company - Conducting market research on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape - Collaborating with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment - Maintaining accurate CRM records and meeting or exceeding sales targets Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of SaaS sales experience in a quota-carrying closing role, with a financial background or proven experience selling to financial institutions. Fintech experience is highly valued. You should be comfortable owning the full sales cycle independently, knowledgeable about modern sales methodologies, self-motivated, and target-driven with a track record of hitting or exceeding quota. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential, along with curiosity about technical products. Fluency in English is required; additional languages (French, Spanish, German) are advantageous. The role is based in London with 2 days per week in the Paddington office (5 Merchant Square, a 5-minute walk from Paddington station).
