Candid is reimagining orthodontics by combining clinical expertise with telehealth technology. The company empowers general dentists with tools to make clear aligner care predictable, efficient, and profitable for their practices while keeping it accessible and affordable for patients.
As an Account Executive, you will own the Northern New Jersey and Westchester County territory, driving business growth through prospecting, demos, client acquisition, and account management. You'll identify and engage prospective dentists and practices, conduct informative lunch-and-learn sessions showcasing the clinical and financial benefits of Candid's clear aligner solutions, and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting and lead generation through referrals, industry events, and research to build a robust pipeline
- Organizing and conducting lunch-and-learn presentations for dental practices, addressing questions and objections
- Collaborating with the sales team to convert leads into signed clients and ensuring seamless integration
- Building long-term relationships with clients, assessing their needs, and identifying growth opportunities
- Analyzing client performance data and providing insights to help practices maximize their clear aligner business
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies
You'll need B2B outside sales experience (preferably in clear aligners or dental/healthcare), a college degree or equivalent, a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, and comfort with business discussions (cash flow, ROI, P&L analysis). Clinical knowledge of clear aligner products is important. The role requires extensive travel throughout your territory, including regular overnight stays. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google applications is required.
