Parspec is a construction technology company founded in 2021 that digitizes the materials supply chain for the $13 trillion construction industry using proprietary AI to maintain a comprehensive catalog of millions of products. The company has raised over $31M in seed financing from leading investors including Innovation Endeavors (founded by former Google CEO Eric Schmidt).
You will join the Enterprise Solutions team as an Account Executive owning the manufacturer rep agency channel—a quota-carrying, full-cycle sales role at the center of the company's fastest-growing revenue motion. Manufacturers are signing data partnerships with Parspec, and your job is to convert that access into revenue by selling Parspec's CPQ, submittal, and product data platform into rep agencies across Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and General Building Supply markets. You will expand seat by seat as agencies standardize on the platform.
Key responsibilities include: owning full-cycle quota sales from prospecting through close; building and executing territory and account plans prioritizing agencies by quoting volume and manufacturer alignment; converting manufacturer partnerships into pipeline by working agency networks; running consultative discovery with agency principals and sales managers; delivering tailored demonstrations of Parspec's CPQ and submittal applications; driving adoption from initial teams into full agency standardization; maintaining disciplined pipeline hygiene in HubSpot; partnering with the manufacturer partnership team to structure co-funded adoption programs; feeding trade-specific requirements back to Product and Implementation teams; and representing Parspec at industry events and agency onsites.
The rep channel is where products get specified and deals are won in construction. Rep agencies currently run this motion on spreadsheets, PDFs, and tribal knowledge. Every agency that standardizes on Parspec makes manufacturers easier to specify and buy, compounding the value of each partnership signed.
You are a channel-native seller with construction products background who can hold your own with agency principals. You have carried and hit quota, run complex multi-stakeholder cycles, and worked in a building products trade long enough to know where real pain lives. You are credible on the trade, curious about technology, comfortable being early in a category, and energized by building a channel motion. You are organized, direct, and disciplined about forecast integrity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience (evaluated on leadership roles, prior work experience, military service)
- 3+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with proven record of meeting or exceeding target

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence owners, principals, and senior operators
- Creative problem solver with consultative, customer-centric approach
- Willingness to travel approximately 30-50% for agency onsites, manufacturer meetings, and industry events
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Trade expertise in electrical, power distribution, plumbing/PHCP, HVAC/mechanical, waterworks, or general building supply (multi-trade exposure is a strong plus)
- Experience selling into or working within manufacturer rep agencies, including familiarity with commission structures, line cards, and principal relationships

- Background selling CPQ, CRM, ERP, PIM, or master data management software into manufacturing, distribution, or construction

- Familiarity with industry quoting and ERP systems used across the channel and competitive CPQ/product data platforms
- Experience at early or growth stage company where process was still being written
