Salary: USD 76,000 - 95,000 / annual

As an Account Executive III (Farmer), you will own Flexport's most complex and highest-opportunity client relationships in North America. These accounts span multiple shipping modes and trade lanes, requiring deep supply chain expertise. You operate with full autonomy, managing end-to-end client success while delivering against high revenue and retention targets. Key responsibilities include: - Owning a portfolio of complex, multi-modal accounts with significant revenue potential and operational intensity - Leading RFP bids and renewals from start to finish - Serving as a strategic partner to clients, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and new capabilities - Conducting high-impact business reviews (QBRs/MBRs) that provide market context, multi-modal insights, and tailored recommendations - Driving cross-sell and upsell across Flexport's full product suite while meeting revenue and retention targets - Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Pricing, Procurement, Product, and Sales teams - Mentoring and coaching junior Account Executives, sharing playbooks and raising team performance This is a visible role where your judgment and approach set the standard for how the Sales team operates. You'll contribute to team playbooks, onboarding content, and process improvements while managing Flexport's most exciting and impactful client relationships. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, or similar client-facing role; logistics, supply chain, or SaaS background strongly preferred - Proven track record of independently managing and growing a complex, multi-product book of business - Deep understanding of global trade and supply chain operations across multiple modes (ocean, air, trucking, customs) - Demonstrated ability to operate without a playbook in ambiguous or novel situations and the judgment to create solutions for others - Strong commercial instincts; ability to identify growth opportunities before clients ask for them - Natural tendency to develop others; peers and junior teammates improve from working with you - Compliance-first attitude to maintain regulatory relationships in this heavily regulated industry
