Aspire is a Series C fintech company building a financial operating system for global founders and growth-stage businesses. The platform consolidates banking, software, and automation to help companies manage finances across borders. Aspire is backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, and serves over 50,000 startups worldwide.
This is a founding commercial role for Aspire's cash management segment in APAC, based in Hong Kong. You will pioneer new-logo acquisition for mid-market accounts across high-growth companies in Hong Kong and China, defining the ideal customer profile, sales motion, and commercial narrative from the ground up. This is not a defined playbook—you will write it.
Key responsibilities include: conducting deep discovery into treasury and cash management pain points (multi-entity structures, cross-border liquidity, collections infrastructure, FX exposure, fragmented banking relationships); building multi-threaded relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasury Managers; partnering directly with Product to feed market requirements into the cash management roadmap; and serving as the internal authority on transaction banking, educating GTM, marketing, and leadership on segment dynamics and positioning.
You will work at the intersection of sales and product, translating deep transaction banking expertise from an institutional background into a commercial motion for high-growth mid-market companies. You are expected to be a co-builder of the product, not just a seller.
Required qualifications: 7+ years in transaction banking, cash management, or corporate banking (institutional background from DBS, OCBC, HSBC, or equivalent strongly preferred); demonstrated track record acquiring and growing corporate relationships across cash management, payments, and liquidity products; fluency across transaction banking products (multi-currency accounts, collections, payables, liquidity management, FX, corporate payment infrastructure); comfort selling to CFOs and Finance Directors in a consultative, solutions-led motion; experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes with long sales cycles.
You are a self-starter who builds structure in ambiguity and defines playbooks. You are energized by landing high-growth accounts and understand the compounding value of strong logos. You are convinced that the future of growth-stage finance is consolidated and automated.
