Canva is seeking an Account Executive to own the Scaled Higher Education portfolio across LATAM, supporting universities with fewer than 5,000 students. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, requiring 2 days per week in the office. You will be responsible for driving growth across a broad portfolio of institutions, identifying opportunities to expand Canva's presence, and helping universities adopt and scale the platform across their campuses. Partnering closely with Customer Success, you'll manage the university lifecycle from initial engagement and onboarding through adoption, retention, and expansion. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the strategy, planning, execution, and results for a portfolio of universities with fewer than 5,000 students - Building relationships with key university stakeholders and developing scalable sales approaches - Working with administrators, faculty, and other stakeholders to demonstrate Canva's value and support successful deployments - Managing pipeline and portfolio to balance new opportunities with expansion across existing institutions - Developing a strong understanding of the needs, priorities, and challenges facing universities across LATAM - Leveraging account, usage, and market insights to prioritize institutions and inform sales strategy - Collaborating cross-functionally with Customer Success and other teams to share customer insights and create repeatable strategies This role combines high-volume portfolio management with strategic selling, requiring you to exceed revenue targets and establish Canva as a trusted partner for higher education institutions throughout the LATAM region. Requirements: - Experience in Higher Education or Education Technology, with understanding of how universities evaluate, purchase, and adopt technology - Fluency in Spanish (required); Portuguese is a plus - Strong sales experience owning a sales territory or portfolio, managing pipeline, and consistently working toward revenue targets - Experience with SaaS, education technology, or other technology solutions highly valued - Scaled portfolio management skills and ability to prioritize based on customer potential and growth likelihood - Consultative selling approach with ability to uncover customer needs and build compelling business cases - Understanding of technology adoption and institutional rollout processes - Excellent communication skills with ability to present, influence, and tell compelling stories - Strong business planning and execution capabilities - Cross-functional collaboration experience - Growth mindset and adaptability
