Plaid is seeking an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle for Plaid's Fraud and Identity solutions. You will drive new business and expansion revenue within a defined territory, acting as a subject matter expert in fraud, risk, and identity verification. This is a quota-carrying role on Plaid's Product Sales team, a specialist, solutions-focused organization responsible for scaling emerging products across new and existing customers. In this role, you will build deep customer relationships and clearly articulate the business value of Plaid's solutions to both technical and business buyers. You will execute end-to-end sales cycles from discovery and pipeline generation through negotiation and close. You'll go deep and wide within customer and prospect accounts to uncover use cases, build champions, and drive adoption. You will partner closely with Sales Development, Account Management, and cross-functional account pod members to win as a team, bringing market insight into customer conversations and proactively identifying and mitigating deal and customer risks. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying direct sales role with a strong track record of attainment - Demonstrated experience selling fraud, risk, identity verification, or adjacent fintech solutions to technical and business buyers - Proven ability to drive new business and expansion revenue in a quota-carrying role - Experience navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building consensus across technical, product, and executive audiences - Strong customer discovery and value-based selling skills, with the ability to translate complex problems into clear business outcomes - Highly collaborative mindset with experience or interest in pod-based or cross-functional sales models - Self-starting approach with the ability to anticipate challenges and move deals forward independently - Strong pipeline management, forecasting discipline, and comfort operating in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
