First Due is a public safety software company on a mission to prevent first responder injury or death by providing fire and EMS agencies with transformative, end-to-end software solutions. The company is seeking an Account Executive - EMS to drive new business growth in the private EMS market.
In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business opportunities with private EMS providers across your assigned territory. You will build and maintain a high-performance sales pipeline, manage efficient sales cycles, and close contracts. Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, leading discovery conversations with agencies to understand their needs, presenting innovative strategies for pre-incident planning and mobile response, and collaborating with system integrators and internal teams to support customer success.
You will maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM, provide regular forecasts and competitive insights, and stay current on public safety trends, technologies, and procurement processes. The role includes travel to customer sites and attendance at trade shows. You will report to the Regional Sales Director and work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of private EMS software sales experience with proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong understanding of government procurement, contracting, sales, and budgeting processes
- Exceptional organization and communication skills with customers and internal teams
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment
- Proficiency with CRM, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools
- Must be authorized to work for any US employer; visa sponsorship not available
