Marble is building an operating system for youth mental health by connecting schools, therapists, and health plans on a single platform. The company addresses a critical gap: 1 in 10 teens attempted suicide last year, driven largely by lack of access to quality, affordable care. Marble partners with school counselors to connect students to licensed therapists through existing insurance coverage with no waitlists.
As a District Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle for school districts across designated states (NY, NJ, OH, AZ priority territories). This is a highly consultative, relationship-driven role focused on building executive-level partnerships with district leaders including Superintendents and Cabinet members.
Key responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end district sales cycles across your territory through strategic outbound, in-person relationship building, and consultative selling
- Design all sales touchpoints to drive Marble adoption among districts
- Build and deepen relationships with Superintendents, Cabinet leaders, Student Support leaders, and school leadership teams
- Develop data-informed territory and account strategies for short and long-term partnership growth
- Navigate complex district procurement, legal, and implementation processes
- Represent Marble in the field through onsite visits, conferences, and executive meetings (30%+ travel expected)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Success, and Ops/Legal teams
- Use customer insights and market trends to inform territory strategy and GTM direction
- Consistently meet and exceed sales targets
Requirements:
- 5+ years building sales pipelines and owning complex sales conversations
- At least 3+ years selling into K-12 districts in the US
- Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding quota in strategic/enterprise sales environments
- Strong ability to navigate complex district procurement processes, multi-stakeholder decision-making, and moderately long sales cycles
- Executive presence and experience building relationships with Superintendents and senior district stakeholders
- Highly consultative sales approach with ability to uncover district priorities and drive strategic conversations
- Willingness to spend meaningful time in the field with 25%+ travel
- Live in or nearby priority territories (NY, NJ, OH, AZ)
- Deep curiosity about K-12 education and youth mental health landscape
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, evolving environments and build processes from ambiguity
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience at early-stage or high-growth companies where you shaped GTM strategy or built territories from ground up
- Experience selling youth mental health, MTSS, or broader district initiatives
- Established networks within K-12 districts in Marble's operating territories
