Blockdaemon is a crypto infrastructure provider seeking a crypto-native Account Executive to join the Crypto Native Business Unit (CNBU). You will own a named portfolio of existing crypto-native accounts while actively building pipeline and winning new logos across the Americas and beyond.
Your responsibilities span three core areas: Defend (protect and retain your book of business through disciplined account management and early churn detection), Expand (drive multi-product growth by converting single-product relationships into multi-product ones across Blockdaemon's staking, dedicated nodes, API suite, and earn/DeFi stack offerings), and Acquire (win new logos through structured outbound prospecting and industry event participation).
You will serve as the senior commercial point of contact for your accounts, leading monthly and quarterly business reviews alongside Technical Account Managers. You'll identify cross-sell opportunities tailored to specific customer cohorts—including protocol foundations, exchanges, liquidity providers, custodians, VC-backed projects, asset managers, payments fintechs, and stablecoin companies. You maintain Salesforce hygiene, participate in weekly pipeline reviews, and own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
Required qualifications include 2–5 years of quota-carrying experience in crypto or blockchain sales/account management, with direct experience selling staking, dedicated node infrastructure, RPC/API products, DeFi services, or crypto custody infrastructure. You must have managed existing account books (renewals, ARR expansion, churn protection) and won new logos in B2B crypto environments. Familiarity with at least two or three CNBU cohorts (exchanges, custodians, protocols, VC groups, asset managers) is essential.
You need solid working knowledge of blockchain infrastructure—how staking works, what dedicated nodes and RPC/API endpoints do, and how earn/DeFi products create value. You should hold credible conversations with CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Heads of Infrastructure, CEOs, and Heads of Product. Awareness of the current digital asset market environment and regulatory momentum in the US, plus familiarity with the competitive landscape, is important.
Key traits: multi-product mindset, high ownership mentality, excellent communication (written and verbal), strong CRM discipline, and collaborative approach with TAMs, CSMs, Product, and Marketing. Existing relationships within CNBU cohorts are a nice-to-have.
