As an Account Executive based in Chicago, you will drive new restaurant partner acquisition and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding. You will source, qualify, and close new restaurant partners to meet or exceed monthly sales quotas, maintaining a consistent pipeline of opportunities. Your responsibilities include acting as a trusted subject matter expert to prospects, working closely with the Onboarding Team to ensure smooth launches, and collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing on acquisition strategy refinement.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners to secure future leads and referrals, accurately track all deals and communications in Salesforce, and engage in regular in-market activities including drop-ins and door knocking (up to 3 days per week). The role requires up to 25% travel outside the Chicago market, with all expenses covered.
You are a proactive, collaborative sales professional with a hunter mentality and strong business acumen. You excel at relationship building, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess an extensive customer network. You are resilient, organized, adaptive, and a natural problem solver who thrives on making connections and closing deals.
Minimum qualifications include 5+ years in quota-exceeding sales roles, preferably in Hospitality, FinTech, or SaaS. Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of sales experience, restaurant or food-related industry experience, and startup environment exposure. You must be proficient in Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
