Salary: CAD 141,000 - 183,000 / annual

As an Account Executive, you will own the complete sales cycle from prospecting through close, driving new business via both inbound and outbound channels. You'll become a product and industry expert, advising business owners, accountants, and bookkeepers in a consultative, high-trust manner. Your role involves translating product capabilities into tangible business value aligned with each customer's specific goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing full sales cycle ownership with focus on successful post-close activation
- Developing expertise in product and industry to advise stakeholders effectively
- Converting product features into clear business value propositions
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, Risk, Customer Experience, Revenue Operations, and Sales Enablement teams
- Mentoring and coaching junior team members
- Innovating and improving overall sales processes alongside peers
You bring 2+ years of full sales cycle experience, ideally in fintech or selling to SMBs, accountants, or bookkeepers. You employ a consultative, discovery-led sales approach and excel at strategic account-based prospecting and outbound pipeline generation. You're proficient with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo) and actively leverage AI to enhance prospecting efficiency and personalize outreach. Strong interpersonal skills, a growth mindset, and adaptability to fast-scaling environments are essential.
Bonus qualifications include fintech or accounting software experience, familiarity with North American SMBs, and Spanish proficiency. The interview process includes four stages: initial talent screening, manager conversation, take-home case study with team discussion, and in-person leadership meeting.
