As an Account Executive II (Farmer), you will own a portfolio of existing Flexport clients and drive their success and revenue growth independently. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on account management, retention, and expansion within an established client base.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the full success and retention of your client portfolio, managing relationships proactively and identifying problems before clients raise them
- Lead all client communications and strategic engagements, including quarterly and monthly business reviews, without requiring support from senior teammates for routine situations
- Identify and execute cross-sell and upsell opportunities within your book of business, owning the commercial outcome end-to-end
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Sales, and Implementation teams to solve client problems with urgency and creativity
- Analyze client performance data to spot trends, anticipate risks, and bring data-backed recommendations to every client conversation
- Develop a clear point of view on each client's business strategy and supply chain needs, not just their Flexport usage
- Work closely with sales hunters from the beginning of the customer journey to ensure seamless transition and long-term client success

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in account management, direct sales, client success, or similar client-facing role; logistics, supply chain, or SaaS background preferred
- Proven ability to independently manage a portfolio of accounts with measurable retention and expansion results
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing cross-sell/upsell opportunities; ability to move deals forward without being pushed
- Strong communication and presentation skills; comfortable leading senior stakeholder conversations without support
- Data literacy: ability to pull insights from client metrics and use them to drive conversations and decisions
- Compliance-first attitude to maintain regulatory relationships in this heavily regulated industry
