Aspire is a financial operating system for global founders and growth-stage businesses, combining banking, software, and automation into a single platform. Backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV, and Lightspeed, Aspire serves over 50,000 startups worldwide.
This is a founding commercial role for Aspire's cash management segment across APAC. You will pioneer the sales motion and commercial narrative for a new product line from the ground up, working at the intersection of sales and product. This is not a defined playbook—you will write it.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pioneer new-logo acquisition for mid-market accounts across high-growth companies in Singapore and APAC, defining the ideal customer profile (ICP), sales motion, and commercial narrative from scratch
- Conduct deep discovery into treasury and cash management pain points including multi-entity structures, cross-border liquidity, collections infrastructure, FX exposure, and fragmented banking relationships; position Aspire as the modern alternative to incumbent banks
- Build multi-threaded relationships across CFO, Finance Director, and Treasury roles, engaging stakeholders accustomed to institutional-grade solutions with credible, product-literate engagement
- Partner directly with Product to feed market requirements into the cash management roadmap; act as a co-builder of the product, not just a seller
- Serve as the internal authority on transaction banking, educating GTM, marketing, and leadership on how this segment buys, what it values, and how Aspire should be positioned
Requirements:
- 7+ years in transaction banking, cash management, or corporate banking (institutional background from DBS, OCBC, HSBC, or equivalent strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of acquiring and growing corporate relationships across cash management, payments, and liquidity products
- Fluency across transaction banking products: multi-currency accounts, collections, payables, liquidity management, FX, and corporate payment infrastructure
- Comfortable selling to CFOs, Finance Directors, and Treasury Managers in a consultative, solutions-led motion
- Experience navigating complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes with long sales cycles
- Self-starter who builds structure in ambiguity and defines playbooks
- Energized by landing high-growth accounts and understanding the compounding value of strong logos
- Conviction that the future of growth-stage finance is consolidated and automated
